Expect to Succeed.
Our beliefs and expectations play a significant role in shaping our experiences and outcomes. We cannot solely rely on positive thinking, but it is foolish to deny that expectations often dictate results.
If we believe that we are capable of achieving a particular goal, we are more likely to work towards that goal and achieve it. On the other hand, if we believe that we will fail, we may not put in the effort needed to succeed. Doubt will temper our efficacy and as a result, we will most likely fail.
Most are familiar with the saying, “seeing is believing,” but the opposite is also true. Believing is seeing! Our beliefs shape our perceptions of reality. If we expect to see something, we are more likely to notice it when it happens. For example, if we believe that we are surrounded by helpful people, we are more likely to notice when someone offers us assistance.
The same holds true for opportunities. If we expect good, we approach situations with positive attitudes and beliefs. Holding this belief influences our behavior and interactions. We are more likely to see opportunities when we expect them. And, let’s be honest, positive people attract accessibility, partnerships, and good fortune.
Take a moment to look within. Are you expecting success or are you allowing doubts and fears to negatively influence your efforts? Your faith is either directed toward your impending success or your imminent failure.
Success or sabotage? In order to succeed, we must not only believe that success is possible; we must also believe that success is possible for us.
Is this going to be an incredible day? What kind of day are you expecting?
