Apply your Gifts.
Complaining is easy. If you are like me, you have a gift for seeing what is NOT there. I can find the flaw in almost any strategy and the imperfection in almost any masterpiece. It is both a gift and a curse. That which makes me a gifted efficiency expert can create an incredibly challenging life.
We can live our lives always focusing on what could be, should be or would be OR we can choose to concentrate on the gifts that already surround us. We can sit on the sidelines and bemoan the stupidity and shortcomings of the world or we can apply our thoughts, creativity and insights into practical applications. It is much easier to be a critic (tweeting from the comfort of our couches), but if we want to effectively change the world, we are going to have to be willing to get our hands dirty.
It is time to stop talking and start doing. What is the calling of your soul? What are the steps that you are avoiding? How will you give of yourself to another to add more positive energy or love to their life? How will you apply your gifts and talents to helping those will most benefit from all that you have to offer?
Success or sabotage? Success does not simply require insight; it requires application. It is seldom acquired without also giving it to another.
Is this going to be an incredible day? The potential for an incredible day begins and ends with you.
