Focus on Success.
We often easily invest in the probability of defeat instead of the endless opportunities for success. We live in a world of unlimited possibility and potential, but often think of that as only being applicable to those “other people” that we read about or see on television. If we are going to invest in the unknown or gamble on probability, why not put our thoughts, words, energy, attention, and money on potential success instead of possible failure? When we take the time to examine the lives of those who are deemed to be great achievers, we discover that two of the things that separate them from the masses are their intense clarity and unyielding belief. They reject tribal logic and believe themselves to be the exception rather than the rule. They know what they know and there is no “evidence” in the world that will convince them differently. It is a steadfast faith. Without it, we would not have the light bulb, automobile, airplane, computer, etc…. Sometimes we must be willing to be “crazy” before society can shift the definition of “sane.”
This week, dwell on possibilities. What is it that you were born to do? What is the voice that is calling to you saying? Are you really taking the time to listen? Are you able to hear it without disregarding the truth of its cry?
Success or sabotage? We will only succeed if we are willing to entertain the probability of success.
Is this going to be an incredible day? On what are you investing your thoughts, words, and actions? Are you paving a road of incredible experiences or simply hoping for something better in your future?
