Define your Success.
We come into this world with unlimited capacity and potential. What we do with it is our choice. In many ways, our life experiences shape our being and help to mold us into the people that we become. The choice that we make every day (whether conscious or unconscious) determines how we perceive and utilize those life experiences.
In order to be successful in life, we must be willing to define what “success” is for us. What is our vision for our life and what is the evidence of our success? How are we going to measure our progress along the way? To be fully effective in this capacity, we must also be disciplined in continually examining our thoughts, words and actions. Are they aligned with that which we are attempting to create? Are they a demonstration of our unwavering belief in our eventual triumph or in the pestering doubt that it is simply a failing venture?
Success or sabotage? Consider the factors that you have concluded are obstacles to your definition of success. What shifts in your thoughts, words, and actions will be required to empower you as you move effectively forward? How will you become an advocate for your success instead of one that continues to defend your limitations?
Is this going to be an incredible day? This day, like all days, is unformed and awaiting your contribution and design. You can either allow the day to dictate your experience or you can dictate the day.
