Examine your Thoughts.
Thoughts are impersonal. They are created in the subconscious mind and drift in and out of our consciousness. A thought is empowered when we attach truth to it, without further inquiry. Eventually, when we carry our attachment to a thought over time, it becomes a belief.
You are not what your thoughts tell you that you are unless you choose it as truth. Rather than arguing with your thoughts (which so many do in an attempt to reconcile), simply inquire as to the truth of your thought. Meet your thought with the possibility of understanding. Accept the thought as impersonal (there is not a critical adversary at work within you--aside from your self!) and simply ask, " is this absolutely, without doubt, the truth?" If you take a moment to truly inquire, you will usually discover that you have merely attached your thought to a story of truth rather than the truth itself. Fascinating? Absolutely. Unexamined, it may also be a source of pain, disconnection and self-sabotage.
Today, notice your thoughts. How many times throughout the day do you find yourself thinking negative or critical thoughts about yourself or others? Take a moment to examine the validity of the thought. What would your day be like if you were able to release the thought as being nothing more than a notion?
Success or sabotage? If you wish to live your full potential and power, you must manage your thoughts. Are you the slave or the master?
Is this going to be an incredible day? How will your thoughts of today shape the nature of its unfolding?
