Surrender your Shame.

Many of us have grown up in shame. We have been led to believe, either by those we love and admire or society at large, that parts of us are unacceptable and unlovable. We may have spent our lives doing our best to hide this part of ourselves, afraid that its exposure would ultimately relate to societal rejection or even our ultimate undoing The truth is that rejecting a part of ourselves will diminish our power. There is strength in vulnerability. We often discover our greatest powers and truth in the acceptance of that vulnerability.

Of what are you most afraid? What is the secret that you hope that no one will discover? Is it possible that bringing this secret into the light could be one of your greatest strengths? Who would you be if you did not keep this secret? How does it feel to even entertain the possibility of exposing yourself?

Success or sabotage? We can never be truly successful until we can surrender our fears and live in complete integrity.

Is this going to be an incredible day? When we free ourselves from the burdensome weight of shame that binds us, we can face the world proudly and without apology. Once we have agreed to that surrender, every day becomes incredible.
