Nurture your Happiness.
Happiness is a choice that must be nurtured if it is going to survive. It is only dependent upon the condition of our lives as much as we allow it to be. Happiness can withstand any circumstance, life experience, or challenge. Happiness is a condition that is developed much like physical strength. It may take a lot of discipline to develop, but once you have "flexed the muscle," it will become an integral part of your being.
Take a moment right now for appreciation. Look around the room where you are currently sitting. What do you appreciate about your surroundings? Do you have a comfortable home, nice office, or productive work area? Do you have a computer that functions effectively most of the time? Is the chair on which are sitting a good means of support? Do you have a roof that keeps the sun and rain off your head? How do your clothes feel? Do you like what you are wearing? Do you have people in your life that love and care about you? As you continue to focus on all that you have, notice how your heart seems to expand.
Success or sabotage? Does your level of happiness influence your level of success? Do you invest your energy in what you have or what you DO NOT have?
Is this going to be an incredible day? Every day has the potential for happiness. It begins with your choice and is defined by your thoughts, words, and actions.
