Notice your Narrative.

When we look in the mirror each morning, what do we see? Our answer would undoubtedly be tainted by our judgment of ourselves. We all see a reflection through the filter of our life experiences, beliefs, etc. What if what we see is untrue? What if our magnificence is too powerful for our lens? What if we don’t like the person staring back at us each morning?

This week, be conscious of the narrative that is being written in your mind about you. Are you happy with the review? Does the description serve you in your intentions? If not, what would you like for it to say instead? Spend some time this week consciously rewriting the story that you tell about yourself. Catch yourself in the midst of self-criticism and replace it with more desirable, positive characteristics. If you find it difficult to identify fitting descriptions, ask your loved ones. They will be happy to remind you of some of your positive, admirable qualities.

Success or sabotage? Success is a product of conditioning, a conscious discipline of thoughts, words, and actions that are aligned with your intentions. Are you willing to do the work required to ensure your personal success?

Is this going to be an incredible day? What are you telling yourself about the day that is about to unfold? How are you setting yourself up to succeed?
