Be of Service.

If your life worth is truly measured (as many would suggest) by what you give, would you be happy with the results of your evaluation? So often, we have grand plans about what we will do for others---charitable actions like feeding the homeless, building homes for Habitat for Humanity, reading to the blind, or even visiting sick friends, but somehow the actual action manages to escape us. We plan to do it when we have time, when our lives are less hectic, when it is not so warm, etc...

Today is the day to step up. Right there, where you are now standing. It is time to make a conscious choice and to take effective action. Do you want your life to be of service? Do you feel there is value in what you have to give? If so, it is time to stop cheating the world and withholding what is yours to give. The planet needs you.

If you had no choice but to give your life in service, what would you do? For what would you joyfully invest your energy? I challenge you to spend two days this month in service to whatever just came to your mind. Go to the phone, schedule an appointment, whatever you need to do to make a true commitment. This day is the only day that you can count on. Do not allow this opportunity to pass you by. I guarantee you the reward will far outweigh the inconvenience.

Success or sabotage? Success begins with a choice. Why not do what you can to create a little joy in the life of another today?

Is this going to be an incredible day? Measure the day by your love, rather than the efficiency of your tasks.
