Breathe and Reconnect.

As I sat at the lake, I was overwhelmed by the sheer magnitude and beauty of this little pocket of the world. It reminded me how inconsequential my worries and concerns are in relation to the power and magnificence that always surrounds me. How can anyone look at a lake, a tree, a bird, or a child without acknowledging the presence of something greater than humanity?

Scientific findings prove time and time again that there is a perfect order to the universe (even in what so often appears to be disorder). Logic would then lead us to believe that we are part of that perfect order. Since we are part of the “whole,” our lives would need to unfold within that order to maintain the integrity of the system. Therefore, we are always on the “right path,” whether we realize it or not. Sometimes you must experience the discomfort of an “off-road” experience to find your way back to the best route (but, we’re still where we need to be at that moment). If this is indeed the case, there is truly nothing worthy of worry.

As your day unfolds, choose peace. When you feel yourself beginning to resist an outcome that does not meet your expectations, choose peace. Take this moment to breathe and reconnect to the truth. Everything is happening exactly as it should. All is well. It is going to be alright.

Success or sabotage? Sometimes success appears to you in clever disguise on a very circuitous path. Be careful not to judge an outcome as a failure; it may simply be another step on your winning path.

Is this going to be an incredible day? In its essence, every day is incredible. Make a point to see it. It is then (and only then) that you become an integral part of it.
