Manage your Triggers.
Our inner world (thoughts/beliefs) expresses in the outer world. It is a truth that is expressed in every religion and philosophy. As a concept, it is so simplistic that it seems to minimize the severity of world strife and unrest; therefore, we reject its validity in our daily lives.
How do you express peace in your daily life? Do you evaluate the presence of peace on external conditions or by the wisdom of your choices? Anger, hurt and fear are natural human reactions to negative conditions. It is not a question of validity. It is a question of the effect of our choices on our lives and the lives of those around us. Do you manage your emotions or do they manage you?
Take some time today to consider your "triggers." What are those things that tempt your patience or historically provoke your anger? What are the effects of these emotions when you do not manage them effectively? How might you manage them differently in order to be more effective? How might it benefit you and others to do so?
Success or sabotage? Success requires a heightened awareness; you do not deny your emotions but you become conscious of your choices in every moment.
Is this going to be an incredible day? What are you willing to do to make this day incredible even in the face of conflict?
