Exercise your Passion.

You have everything that you need right now to be happy and fulfilled. For many of us, the immediate inclination is to respond with a laundry list of things that we passionately desire. This is not unnatural or unhealthy. As humans, we always want to grow and expand. Desire is a healthy part of our existence. If you have invested in the belief that the acquisition of those things or the arrival of that alternative condition will finally result in your happiness, you are mistaken. In reality, it may bring additional satisfaction, but that moment will pass and you will again find yourself filled with longing for those other things that will bring you happiness. It is not the desire that is misguided; it is the belief that fulfilling those desires will result in happiness that is erroneous.

We arrived on this planet with nothing and that is the way that we will depart. In the interim, we owe it to ourselves and to the world to share our gifts and talents. We must find a way to exercise our passions. It is not only that which makes us uniquely “us,” it is also the reason why we are here. The absence of passion is not a life; it is an existence. Indulging those passions is not an indulgence; it is a responsibility.

How will you express your gifts/talents today? How will you infuse your life with more passion?

Success or sabotage? Success only serves you if it includes your personal happiness and satisfaction (both in pursuit and achievement!).

Is this going to be an incredible day? Every day, we are provided with the gift of a blank canvas. The art of the day is an opportunity for our personal creation.
