Define your Success.

Stop looking outside of yourself for a definition of “success.” Success is something that we must define for ourselves. It is unique to our character, calling and capacity, so we must provide our own metrics. We need to set our own vision, goals and standards.

Rather than allowing another day to pass where you are simply living by default, take some time to define success for yourself today. Write it down as a means of commitment and accountability.

How are you defining success or yourself today? Is it something that you do or something that you are? Do you define who you are by what you do or do you allow your actions to provide others with a window to your soul? Are your actions supporting your definition or are you setting yourself up to fail? Be certain how you will evaluate your success at the end of each day.

Success or sabotage? No one can answer this question for you, but you. You must be able to recognize one vs. the other, so it’s important that you do your due diligence.

Is this going to be an incredible day? Declare yourself a complete success and define the actions that will bring it to fruition. Remember: missteps, mistakes and unexpected outcomes are simply opportunities for you to refine your strategies. Everything that happens to you, happens for you (should you allow it).
