Let it Go.

Disappointment is often the result of our fixed ideas. Our thoughts of limited possibility often prevent us from seeing the truth even when it is staring us in the face. At some point, we must ask, “am I willing to accept what I want EVEN WHEN it shows up in an unexpected manner at an unexpected time? Am I able to surrender my ideas of all that must happen to get what I want and simply accept that it can manifest in a number of ways?”

We are our own worst enemies. In order to manage our lives effectively, we must know when to get out of the way. Think of it as “managing effectively in spite of yourself.” Practice the art of surrender; let go and notice how it creates more space in your life for unexpected joy. Consider the greatest events of your life to date. How many of them were planned? How many of them were unexpected? I rest my case!

Our job is to be clear about what we want. We must take the steps within our power to bring it to fruition and let it go. Make room. Allow it to unfold in your life absent the gift of attempted control. Enjoy the wonder and spectacle of answered prayers and fulfilled dreams.

Success or sabotage? We must be mindful not to allow our limited perspective of probability to limit or vision of possibility.

Is this going to be an incredible day? Hold the infinite hope and the wish becomes the reality.
