Focus on Creation.

Stop! Where is your focus? Are you investing your energy on all that "should be" corrected in the personality, manner and actions of others or are you consciously creating an effective life for yourself? One is definitely a deterrent to the other. Focus on what you want to create rather than what you wish to eliminate.

Notice how much energy around you is expended on the negative. It is easier to talk about what is ineffective rather than taking the care and time to discover what is effective. This is particularly evident in a political climate where an enormous amount of energy seems intent to divide and polarize instead of focusing on the challenges at hand.

Doctor, heal thyself! Pay attention to your thoughts, words and actions today. How often do you catch yourself caught up in a negative narrative (silent or aloud) about a specific person, situation or the world in general? Rather than pouring "energetic gasoline" on potentially explosive situations, turn your focus inward. Ask yourself what you can learn and do as a result of this person, situation or experience. What is their gift to you?

Success or sabotage? Success is achieved more readily by those who are willing to pave the road for others to succeed as well.

Is this going to be an incredible day? What can you do to create your own paradise today?
