Invest in Intention.

We are a society full of activity, always busy, always running to and fro. Many of us subscribe to the "nose to the grindstone" philosophy that values "hard work" as the means to achieving success. The challenge is, for most of us, that "hard work" is often interpreted as fatigue, exhaustion, and stress. We often equate life success with unyielding schedules and packed agendas. Notice how often people will try to be busier than the other in their conversation about the day ahead. We brag about our exhaustion as if it is a medal of honor that reflects our importance of position in the world.

Effective time management entails more than allowing enough time to complete the tasks on the to-do list.  If we wish to achieve great success, we must do what successful people do. We must invest most of our energy on the items that are most aligned with our intentions.

Your time and energy are yours to manage. Ask your self the following:

  • What are you creating in your life?
  • Are my intentions clearly reflected in my actions?
  • What do you need to do in order to move in that direction?
  • Are my activities feeding or draining my energy?

Success or sabotage? Success begins with the choice to create it. You are the architect of the formula.

Is this going to be an incredible day?  What actions will you take to make it so?
