Make informed Decisions.

One might argue that success requires a voracious appetite for learning. One must be open to new strategies, methodologies, and perspectives in order to expand the consciousness and increase the capacity for new possibilities. Our society has become a bit apathetic, in this regard, however. Instead of assuming responsibility for our thoughts and beliefs, we often surrender to the opinions of the media. We accept them as truth without taking the time and effort to gain an experiential understanding of the things that we claim hold meaning for us. After all, those "things" simply take too much time and we are unwilling to accept any additional sacrifices.

What is the cost of ignorance? Can we truly afford to limit our potential power as creators in this world because we would rather watch television? Do we have any hope for true success as long as we absorb other people's opinions as our own? We owe it to our selves to make informed decisions. We owe it to the world to hear and understand the opposing perspectives. We do not need to change our minds; we do, however, need to honor one another in our perspectives.

Today, select a topic for which you are passionate. Take the time (yes, the TIME!) to explore the reasoning behind an opposing opinion. Do not assume that you know it without the research! How does understanding a new perspective contribute to your learning? How does it help to solidify or modify your beliefs?

Success or sabotage?  Success is attracted to the fearless of heart--those that appreciate the differences of others (knowing that wisdom lies within!)

Is this going to be an incredible day?  What did you learn from yesterday that will make this day even more incredible?
