Appreciate the Gift.

I awakened without feeling--not joy or anger, certainty or wonder, love or hate. Indifference had arrived unexpectedly and was entertaining a day filled with apathy.  The only thing that frightens me more than indifference is my comfort in its company. It can seem a welcome companion to the challenges of a difficult road. It is then that I remind myself that this day will never come again. It can never be recovered. There are opportunities that stand before me that I may only encounter today. It is an invitation to live, rather than exist. I can stand in self-judgment and stay paralyzed in indecision or I can choose to step boldly into the unknown and embrace the adventure that awaits me.

Life is a privilege. There are many who would give all that they have to breathe without difficulty, walk in the rain or run with abandon.  Take advantage of the gift that you have been given and live this day to its fullest potential. Do something today that makes your heart beat with excitement. If you have lost your way and are no longer certain of what inspires you, do something that you have never done before. Risk feeling and create a new memory.

Success or sabotage? Success is a response to choice; joy goes where it is loved.

Is this going to be an incredible day?  The possibility and potential await if you will simply invite them to the party.
