Embrace the Unknown.

It is very easy to become immersed in the habits of our routine, often at the expense of truly living.  When we find ourselves in a "rut," feeling as if our lives lack passion, connectivity, and joy, we have to be willing to shake up our norm.  We must be willing to risk the uncertainty of the unknown to ignite the passion that is waiting within.

One could easily argue that joy is often an "off-road experience."  Our souls are often awakened in the midst of an unexpected, unplanned and (at times) even an unwelcome experience.  Sometimes the best way to fully experience life is to invite it into our day.  This begins with our willingness to let go of our life as we know. We must be willing to surrender the comfort of the known for the uncertainty of the unexplored.

When is the last time that you engaged an activity, interest or conquest that was not directly aligned with your profession or traditional hobbies?  When is the last time that you engaged a subject that you knew nothing about simply for the sake of learning?  How long has it been since you spoke to a stranger to learn about THEIR story (with no visible connection to something that you needed or desired)?

Success or sabotage?  Success requires the ability to embrace the unknown. Sometimes the easiest path to unlocking passion and purpose is to step boldly outside of your routine.

Is this going to be an incredible day? Consider the possibilities of a day where you break, alter and resign from your routine. Move from existence to living by jumping into the world that surrounds you.
