Live in Integrity.

I have watched people move from state to state, job to job and relationship to relationship in search of "the thing" that will make them happy. No matter what they do or where they go, happiness seems to elude them.  They exert a great amount of energy trying to create the "right" circumstances, but there are always items on the list that remain outstanding. Their happiness will simply have to wait until everything is "in order."

It is not where you are, what you do, who you are with or how much you make. It is not about the kind of day that you are having or whether things are going according to plan. It is about you. Who are you? Are you the person that you wish to be? Sustained happiness is a choice that results from living in integrity. If you are grounded and secure, your happiness will not fluctuate with the tide. You have the ability to choose to remain happy in all circumstances, not because you are oblivious to circumstances, but because you are able to put things into perspective. Circumstances do not define you; they simply provide you with the opportunity to choose to live in integrity at every moment.

Today, notice your spirit. Are you connected? Are you living in integrity? Are you allowing your happiness to be dependent upon specific outcomes?

Success or sabotage? Success is a choice that you make every minute of every day.

Is this going to be an incredible day? Are you able to conclude that it is so, no matter what happens?
