Tap into Possibility.

Christmas means many things to different people. In the midst of the consumer frenzy, familial obligations and the stress of making the day "special," it is easy to neglect an important opportunity.

For me, the story of the birth of Jesus represents the birth of a new awareness. We are provided with the opportunity to transcend our basic human nature and tap into the Divine presence within. We have the gift of choice. We may allow the love and light of our true nature to express in every aspect of our lives or we can continue to live in response to the ever-changing circumstances of our lives.

If the message is tied too heavily to religious doctrine for your liking, consider your life from this perspective:  are you defending your limitations or advocating your possibilities? Are you exercising your full power and potential for making your life one filled with a joyful purpose or are you simply existing in a life constricted by routine and obligations?

The greatest gift that you can give yourself and others is living a life of true authenticity. Living below your full power and potential is (by my way of thinking) the world's greatest sin. So, what is the call that you are not answering?  What is the yearning of your heart that you continue to deny?  Perhaps it is time to give yourself a real gift: a life (fully) lived.

Success or sabotage?  Real success requires that you revisit questions that you may have thought were already answered. As the world changes, as your needs and desires change, your life needs to evolve.

Is this going to be an incredible day?  Like any day, you must define what constitutes "incredible" and make it so.

To those who celebrate:  Merry Christmas!  For the rest: Happy Holidays!  Light, love and laughter to all of you!
