Revisit your Vision.

Why are you doing what you're doing? To what end are your actions focused? If you have cannot answer these questions, you are sabotaging your opportunity for living your best life and you are cheating the world out of your potential. This is not a question that is answered once. It must be revisited. The world changes, your life changes, your wants/needs evolve, so it is important that you continually revisit your vision for your life.  So much of the power and potential that we have been gifted is wasted because we feel overwhelmed by the breadth of possibilities or by the litany of reasons why we could not possibly have that which we desire. The voice of the fragile ego speaks up: who do you think you are? what makes you think that you can have that? Get real. Stop that foolish dreaming.

For those who are feeling stuck because of the vast menu of possibilities or due to your analysis paralysis about making the RIGHT decision, shift your focus from what you want to do to who you want to be.  If you follow this exercise by answering a few questions on a daily basis, you will discover that your lack of clarity about your vision will take care of itself.

The two most powerful words that anyone can utter is "I AM." Whatever follows those words is a declaration, an order placed to the universe about who you want to be (and the universe will respond, in kind, with your opportunity to be just that).  So, it comes down to this:  "who do you want to be?"  Select the adjective that best describes who you want to be. Get out a notebook and write it down:  "I AM" followed by the adjective that describes who you want to be today. I am patient, I am productive, I am loving, I am energetic....

Now, it doesn't stop there. You must decide how you are going to evaluate your success in that capacity.  At the end of the day, how will you decide that you succeeded? Set yourself to succeed in defining how you will measure it?

We're not done yet. I hope that you are writing it down.  What challenges and obstacles do you see?  You know your life, you know the world, so you can probably make some assumptions about some possible challenges to your objective. Write them down.

Now, how are you going to overcome them? What is your strategy for managing potential challenges?  How will you remind yourself of your goal? At the end of the day, review:  how did you do? What could have you have done to have been even more effective?

So, who do you want to be? Who are you today? If you do this exercise, writing your answers down to these questions every day for 60 days, your life will change in more ways than you can imagine.

Success or sabotage? Our power is released and our potential is realized when we take 100% responsibility for our lives and what we are creating.

Is this going to be an incredible day? Say "yes" to something better for yourself, not simply because the world needs you to be all that you are, but because you deserve it.
