Manage your Stress.
Stress is a habit that perpetuates feelings of victimization, helplessness, and isolation. It breeds upon itself. It is not a question of whether you have a "good reason" to be stressed. There are always circumstances to validate stress, but never "good reasons" to engage it. Stress comes with a high price emotionally, mentally and physically. It is a virus for which there is no cure. One cannot completely eliminate it, but one can manage it.
What causes stress in your life? What can you do TODAY to begin to manage it more effectively? What might the cost be for NOT managing it? One way that we can release stress is to schedule a little quiet time. When is the last time that you spent 15 minutes awake in complete silence without allowing any interruptions? Take some time today to practice peace. Find a quiet place where you will not be interrupted and sit in silence for 15 minutes. Don't cheat! As you find your head filling with thoughts, your heart beating faster and your impulses telling you to move, simply breathe. Fill the peace within you begin to grow. Do you find yourself feeling increasingly relaxed?
Success or sabotage? Stress is one of the primary ingredients for sabotage. Do you find yourself surrendering to stress rather than managing it effectively?
Is this going to be an incredible day? How much are you willing to do to make it so?
