Make your Choice.

As we move deeper into the new year, I invite you to consider your role in your family, your community and as a citizen of the world. Even the insinuation of that level of responsibility may make your eyes roll back into your head. Instead, you would rather sacrifice your time to the tasks of your position, the latest televised version of reality or simply return to the warmth of your bed. The complexity and breadth of the world's challenges may seem too deep to fully grasp. The thought of even trying to awaken a society comfortably sleeping is challenging at best. Do we simply go on with our day to day routine or do we create some ripples in the water?

In the face of growing world conflict and divisive leadership, you make your choice. Peace is a choice made by individuals, not governments. It is created one person at a time. We can either argue the idealism or we can facilitate effective change in our own lives that will, in turn, create a ripple around the world. Absent of judgment about your decision, be conscious of the choices that you make. The future of the world is indeed in your hands.

Success or sabotage?  Does your definition of "success" align with how it is defined by those around you? How does what you are creating in your life affect those around you?

Is this going to be an incredible day? How can you make this day victorious for others as well as yourself?
