Manage your Fear.

Effective living requires effective actions. Many are aware of a probable course of action (given their intentions), but are often paralyzed by fear or uncertainty. It is very easy to get caught up in the conversation about what one might or might not do without ever doing ANY THING at all. This simply enables one to get caught up in a loop of possibility absent of conscious choice. Often, people have fooled themselves into believing that they are more comfortable in their discomfort than they could ever be entertaining alternative possibilities. It is a false sense of security.

Fear and your ego are overprotective members of your "Personal Homeland Security Team." They have your best interests at heart and do not wish to see you get hurt. They have a tendency to be reactionary, however, and do not often take the time to test the validity of their assumptions. The past does not necessarily dictate the future; therefore, you may want to keep a sharp eye on fear and your ego to be certain that you are managing them correctly.

Success or sabotage? Are you living small? Are your reasons for inactivity simply thinly veiled assumptions based on fear and uncertainty?

Is this going to be an incredible day? What would you do if you were brave?
