Raise the Bar.
Every time one expands his consciousness, it expands the consciousness of the world (by expanding the possibility of those around him/her). The same is true for the one who raises the bar for performance and potential. At first, it was unheard of for one to run a six-minute mile. It was deemed impossible until someone did it. As soon as that barrier (consciousness) was broken, several athletes were able to rise to the new expectation.
Your thoughts, words and actions are not simply your own; in many respects, they belong to the world. For every action, there is a reaction. You are participating (whether you like it or not) in a global consciousness. If your actions were used as a example for others, how would you summarize the lesson? Is the moral of your current story one that challenges others to live up to their potential or is it one that speaks to the fear and insecurity that comes with living "small"?
If you truly wish to succeed, then you must be willing to condition yourself for success. What are two things that, if you did them, would change your life? Write them down: RIGHT NOW.
Success or sabotage? Success requires momentum and there is no time better than the present. If you are giving into excuses (you might call it "reason") for why you cannot do it now, you are not yet prepared for complete success.
Is this going to be an incredible day? Turn your intentions/desires into effective actions and watch the magic of the day unfold.
