Examine your Choices.

There is no such thing as a mistake. The worst thing that can happen is that you realize that you could have made a more effective choice, given your intention. Intention rules the world, but it is only with the consciousness of our choices that we can live more effectively. We may choose to invest in regret over ineffective decisions--feeding seeds of guilt and insecurity--or we may choose to learn from the results of our actions.  It is said that insanity can be defined by making the same choices and expecting different results.  Consciousness requires discipline. One must remain awake to properly evaluate the relationship between cause and effect and how it is demonstrated in our lives. We must be able to discern the patterns in our lives without allowing the embedded assumptions to become yet another form of self-sabotage. In other words, if something is true in one circumstance, it does not make it so for all similar circumstances.  We must be able to examine our choices with a clear vision, absent of expectations or judgment.

Look back over the year to date. What have you learned from your choices? What are you doing more effectively now than a year ago? How have the results of your choices served as a valuable resource in your personal development?

Success or sabotage?  Every choice can be your path to greater joy and success if you allow it.

Is this going to be an incredible day?  Using recent days as your example, what might you do to make this day more effective and joyful?
