Channel your Energy.

Many of us are professional critics. We may not get paid for our services or our astute observations, but we delight and excel in our natural expertise. We are gifted with the ability to pinpoint the nature of the world's problems, finding fault with those who have acted foolishly and watching closely to see when they will prove us right once again.

Yes, we may be correct. Yes, we may be gifted and astute. Yes, they (whoever the "they" may be today) may have acted foolishly.  What, however, is the value of our continued criticism?  Consider the power that would be exorcised if we all channeled our energy into positive solutions and personal actions that made the world a better place (beginning with our own world).

Today, take note of how often your inner dialogue and conversation is seasoned with criticism and negativity. When you catch yourself engaging in these ineffective patterns (who does it really serve?), stop and try to turn your negativity into support or positive action. Forgive those around you for being human and imperfect. Isn't that the behavior that you would prefer in return?

Success or sabotage?  Success is a friend to those who take action and a stranger to those who talk.

Is this going to be an incredible day? Do not waste the possibility and potential of a day by investing in criticism and negativity. Think of ways that you can create more peace in the world one thought, word, and action at a time.
