Open your Eyes.

Sometimes the truth will only surface when we completely surrender--when all that we hold dear is shaken from our grip. One only needs to look at nature to understand the seemingly cruel evolutionary process. Erosion is a brutal visitor when viewed in the moment of its undoing. It is only after the fact when we are able to see the growth that emerges from the clearing that we can appreciate the necessity of its mission.

If you are feeling the challenge of life circumstances, unable to regain your footing and reclaim your joy--hold on. The dark night of the soul is a necessary part of the hero's journey and it brings many great gifts if you simply hold on until after the storm. At one point in my life, it took my mom's brain aneurysm, my father's heart attack and the loss of my job to awaken to a deeper truth within.  The pain of the journey is one that is ultimately endured alone; it is a path that each of us must some day travel.  Keep your eyes open for the truth that is attempting to reveal itself and know that the sun will rise again tomorrow. Hope is not futile and it can carry through the darkest of times if you will simply allow it to do so.

Success or sabotage?  Success is a journey, not a destination. it is an evolutionary process that requires the strength of champions--strength that has already been proven to be in your possession.

Is this going to be an incredible day? Every day arrives with a seed of unlimited potential; sometimes, we must modify our definition of "incredible" and allow the magic of the day to bring with it the unexpected.
